The Nations of Aztlan have arrived! Congrats to Mark Diaz Truman and Danielle Lauzon for getting this book out to print. Now our backers can get to know the Nahuacan Alliance, the city states of Tzak K'an, and empire of Kuraq like we do in a nice, shiny hardcover sourcebook.
As usual, we'll be running the delivery for these books through our webstore via coupon codes delivered through Backerkit. We’ve already pushed those coupons out via email, but if you didn’t get an email, you can grab your coupon directly from the Backerkit Digital Downloads page:

To get these, follow the same process as listed above for New World, except with these product links:
Note that your coupon entitles you to free shipping on your book, which applies to any other books you add to your order as well (like an additional Core Rulebook, Pirate Nations or any other JWP product!) This coupon is also good for one year, so you can wait to use it if you’re about to change your address or want more than one book delivered at a time.
And if you didn’t yet purchase a hardcover copy of either of these novels and want to pick one up… now is a great time to buy your copy direct from our webstore!
Songs of the 7th Sea
Grab a mug of rum and sit down for a listen! We have a treat for you. Friend of the ship and crew, Sheldon Morley, has whipped up ten sea shanties for your listening pleasure. Want a jaunty tune? Listen to "Girls of Darwah-Town." Need a mournful ballad? Play "Rollicking Randy Dandy O." And if you listen carefully, you might hear Captain Wick tell a tale of haunting and terror. Give your 7th Sea games a kick with music on this CD.

7th Sea Kickstarter Community Guidelines
As you may have seen in our last big production update, we’ve made some changes to the 7th Sea schedule. These changes were made to better support our staff and to keep producing books that meet the quality we demand of our creative team.
In general, you can still expect regular Kickstarter updates from our production team. We’re going to try our best to keep those monthly. If those updates come a little late, we welcome your questions and we’ll do our best to keep you updated in the comments section of Kickstarter.
Updates can come late for many reasons. The main one is this: syncing with all the right people to publish a backer update takes a lot of work. It involves the creation of product pages on the JWP website, the creation of coupon codes, distribution of codes to backers, updates from the production team on their current estimated timelines, checking in with writers and artists about in-development books, the list goes on!
Sometimes, responses from the JWP team may also come late. In most circumstances, this is because we’re funneling your request to the correct person. We’re a small company spread across different time zones, and a message sometimes has to jump from person to person before the correct crew member can give a response.
We hope that helps give a little bit of context about why things sometimes seem slow! Our direct email line for customer inquiries is [email protected] if you need to get a hold of us and don’t want to wait for us to find your Kickstarter comment.
With that said, we’re laying down stricter rules about the types of comments we will and won’t tolerate in this community space. While most of you have been patient and supportive (and we appreciate you, thanks!), we’ve noticed a growing trend in comments that are disrespectful, insulting, and/or abusive to our staff and other backers.
We want to be very clear on this: We understand that sometimes things happen that are disappointing and frustrating, and we will always work with you to try and make things better to the best of our abilities and deal in good faith. But, your disappointment and frustration does not give you license to be jerks to us or anyone else here, and we will respond to that.
Moving forward, here’s the process we’ll be using for dealing with comments that we believe create an unsustainable environment for other backers, and for the JWP creative team:
- First, we’ll let you know via public comment that a comment has crossed a line. We’ll ask for an adjustment of behavior or a reframing of the question or comment.
- If we still feel that a comment breaks our community guidelines, we’ll contact you privately addressing the behavior in question, with a warning about refunding the remaining portion of your pledge (which results in removal from the project).
- If you’re unwilling or unable to meet these guidelines moving forward, we will refund the remaining portion of your pledge and you will be removed from the Kickstarter project.
With many rewards left to deliver, we want to focus on producing great books for you, and we want to do that in an environment that feels constructive for our staff and our other backers. We appreciate your help and support in making that happen!
Onward and Upward…
We’re more excited than we’ve ever been about the future of 7th Sea, and we’re glad to have you along for the ride. If you’re following the Khitai KS, stay tuned for some updates on that side regarding the corebook’s development and the awesome crew of writers and developers we’ve assembled for it.
Until next time, full sails and clear horizons!
